The Short Chain Cooperation aims to efficiently and sustainably distribute local fresh produce, with BUas helping to align digital systems and improve transport planning.
What was the goal?
The Korte Keten collaboration - an initiative of seven logistics and food companies in Midden-Brabant - aims to distribute local fresh produce efficiently and sustainably. Currently in its early start-up phase, the initiative has yet to establish significant joint transport arrangements, presenting an opportunity for BUas to develop the supply chain step by step from the ground up.
What method was employed?
BUas will align the core systems and digitalisation levels across the various short-chain businesses, focusing on smart automation and transport planning for the joint vehicles.
