Closer Connections
Closer Connections aimed to build a coherent, cross-academy, virtual and augmented reality strategy to contribute to the European agenda: "A Europe fit for the digital age." This initiative enabled the SPRONG group DIGIREAL to enhance its visibility and reputation at the European level, establish strong alliances with European VR/AR coalitions and associations, and apply for EU grants.
What was the goal of this project?
The goal of the Closer Connections project was to develop a strategic approach to VR/AR that would align with the European digital agenda. The project sought to position the SPRONG group DIGIREAL as a key player in the European VR/AR landscape, leveraging its unique assets and capabilities to build strong partnerships and secure funding opportunities.
What method was employed?
The project began with the development of a strategic paper on market assessment to determine the group's position within the European digital agenda. This was followed by the creation of a roadmap for the future utilisation of rare assets, such as the XR-stage and photogrammetry. The project also focused on raising awareness of the unique combination of excellent facilities, creative staff, and talented students.
