Strategic Collaboration Processes

Companies in the leisure industry need to continuously innovate, and one effective way to do this is through partnerships with other businesses in the same sector. While many studies have examined the structure of interorganizational collaborations, this research delves into the dynamics of these partnerships.

 

What was the goal of this research?

The aim of this research was to understand the collaboration process among organizations in the arts, culture, media, and entertainment sectors. Specifically, it focused on how these organizations work together to find new forms of storytelling and business innovation.

 

What method was employed?

This study analyzed the micro-dynamics of the collaboration process to reveal how interorganizational partnerships unfold.

 

What findings did we uncover?

The research identified various challenges that organizations face during collaboration and explored the strategies they use to address these issues. It also highlighted how the artistic or commercial background of each organization influences the collaborative process.
