Professorship Platform HTIT
The Hospitality, Tourism, Innovation & Technology Experts Network (HTIT-EN) is a collaborative initiative granted €100,000 by SIA. This project unites scholars from five Dutch applied science universities to advance technological innovation in hospitality and tourism.
The primary objective of HTIT-EN is to leverage technological advancements to drive innovation within the hospitality and tourism sectors. The network aims to utilise its collective research to foster significant tech and social impact, enhancing the sectors' broad societal benefits.
HTIT-EN involves over 30 professors and researchers from 10 Dutch institutions, focusing on areas such as strategic foresight, digital transformation, and the creative industries. The network is supported by CELTH and KHN and collaborates with over 50 SMEs. Through these partnerships, HTIT-EN seeks to integrate technological innovations into the industry.
The initiative aims to position itself as a leading knowledge hub for technological innovation in hospitality and tourism. HTIT-EN’s approach is designed to create a substantial impact on both the industry and society by leveraging its extensive research and collaborative network.
