Tuition fee

In the academic year 2025-2026 the statutory tuition fee for this bachelor's programme is €2,601. 

You pay the statutory tuition fee if you:

  • have the Dutch nationality or the nationality of another country that is part of the EEA, or the Surinamese or Swiss nationality and
  • have not already obtained a bachelor's degree from a government-funded programme in the Netherlands at the start of the academic year.

If these conditions do not apply to you, there may be other conditions under which you are eligible for the statutory tuition fee. To find out, please check the tuition fee regulation.

In all other cases you pay the institutional tuition fee. In the academic year 2025-2026 the institutional fee for bachelor's programmes is €12,850.

NON-EU students, please take into account the costs of a visa and/or a residence permit. You will also have to transfer proof of sufficient means of support.

Information about payment

Study grant

If you meet the nationality criteria for student finance, you may  qualify for a tuition fees grant or loan. Read more and apply for this study grant at DUO Student Finance.

 

Additional costs

In addition to tuition fees, during the study programme, you will need to consider costs for participation in the introduction week and the purchase of study materials such as books, readers and software. You will also need a laptop. Furthermore, there may be additional costs for excursions, company visits and field trips.

Costs (estimated) for the programme of Tourism Management:

  • Introduction week: €170
  • Books: €200 to €300 for the first year
  • Other learning resources: €450 for the first year 
  • Field trip/excursions in years 2 and 3: €350 to €1,200 (varies per destination)
