Special features Tourism Management
Field projects
During your studies, you will work on inspiring research projects at home and abroad.
During your studies, in year 1 you will conduct a quantitative research project together with a number of fellow students. You will conduct this research in the Netherlands, looking at a specific topic within tourism. Examples include media use, over-tourism and spending patterns.
In the second year, you will be challenged to look at how tourism developments can improve the quality of life at tourist destinations. This research is conducted in a foreign destination and has an interdisciplinary and intercultural aspect.
Direct access to a wo-master's degree
After completing your scientific bachelor's degree, you have direct access, for example, to the MSc Leisure and Tourism Studies in Breda (1 year) or the MSc Tourism Society and Environment in Wageningen (2 years), but also to a large number of other scientific master's programs at home and abroad.
Graduates continued their studies at more than 20 different universities at home and abroad. Check the website for more information about all possibilities.

Because of the cooperation with one of the leading research institutes in the Netherlands, Wageningen University & Research, as well as the small scale of the program, you will have the opportunity to work with teachers and professors on interesting research projects they are currently working on.
