The Netherlands as a trading country benefits from international students
In an opinion piece in Dutch daily newspaper De Telegraaf, president of the executive board Jorrit Snijder, explains why international students are good for the Dutch economy.

‘The issue of international students is not an immigration issue,’ Jorrit writes. ‘It is a win-win in which young people come to study, work and contribute to a healthy economy and a strong society.’ International students bring in money, they are a solution to staff shortages and they contribute to the success of internationally operating companies after graduation, he argues.
