21+ assessment Bachelor's programmes without selection
21+ assessment
If you do not meet the admission requirements but you are aged 21 or over, you may take part in the 21+ assessment.
You have to be at least 21 when the programme starts. Based on an assessment, we will determine whether you are qualified for admission.
For the bachelor's programmes without selection, the 21+ assessment means that you have to take the following 3 steps:
- Compiling a portfolio
- Capability, motivation and learning style test
- Interview
1. Portfolio
A portfolio serves to demonstrate your potential. You describe your education, work experience and any additional information that has been important in your choice for this particular programme. The portfolio will be discussed in the interview.
2. Capability, motivation and learning style test
You will do a computer-based test. The capability test measures your mathematical and linguistic skills as well as your spatial aptitude. Its outcome will help us determine whether you are able to handle the academic demands of a study programme at higher professional education level. The results of the capability test and the outcome of the motivation and learning styles will be discussed during the interview.
3. Interview
Your portfolio and test results will be discussed during the interview. This is your opportunity to talk about your choices and motivation.
During the interview, be prepared to discuss/ demonstrate:
- that you have thoroughly informed yourself of this programme and that you have made a well-considered choice;
- your oral fluency in English;
- why you think you will be able to complete the programme successfully even though you don’t have the requested qualifications.
The results of the 21+ assessment will determine whether you are allowed to participate in the matching procedure and whether you are allowed to enroll.
Costs
The fee for the 21+ assessment is € 150.
When
It is possible to take part in the 21 + Assessment on 6 February, 10 April and 22 May 2025
