Tourism in Balance
The Interreg Europe project is a collaborative initiative involving the cities and regions of Amsterdam, Krakow, Tallinn, Andalucia/Sevilla, Rome, and Brasov, with Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas) serving as the lead partner. The project aims to develop improved policies for tourism distribution, focusing on sustainable and balanced tourism.
What was the goal of this research?
The primary goal of this project was to guide the formulation of improved policies for tourism distribution in participating cities and regions. By emphasizing sustainable and balanced tourism, the project seeks to ensure that tourism benefits both visitors and local communities, setting a model for similar destinations.
What method was employed?
The project involved a collaborative effort between the participating cities and regions, supported and guided by BUas.
